Summary:The book starts out at a funeral for one of the characters in the last book in the series, he was nine years old. After the funeral Max (the main character) and her family (a group of kids with wings with her mother and father) left for Washington D.C. so that the government could talk to them about their protection. The wanted to put the kid's in a school for their own protection.
Reaction After reading most of these books i know going to a school and staying in one spot for more than half a day is almost impossible.

Summary: After their first meeting with the people in D.C. and saying no to what they wanted the did stay in a hotel for a while longer, but unfortunatly the peace did not last long because when they were ordering pizza and it got there, there was a bomb in the pizza forcing them to move to a different motel.
Reaction I was not to suprised when they were attacked out of no whereand had to move on that is what had happened in the last book and the book before that and so on and so on.

Summary:In this chapter Max and her gaggle of mutant kids were called by Max's Father to meet some more people. Once Max and her group get there they are told that they will be travling with a group of scientists to Antarctica to help them study global warming.
Reaction I thought this chapter was still kind of boring because it was just a call and them flying basicaly. But I know we are getting to the good parts of the book.

Summary:In this part of the book the group has met with the scientists and set sail for Antarctica nothing interesting happens on the way there but once they get there the group is aw struck by the temprature and all of the ice and snow. Now that they are there Max starts to notice Fang is getting kind of flirtsy with one of the younger scientists and she gets jealous for some reason.
Reaction The book is getting better now that ther is some tention but i hate that there is drama mixed in with it.

Summary: Most of this section is Fang's blog again, but after that Max and the youngest character Angle go out to get a chunk of ice so that these scientists can study, but on their way there Max and Angle get seperatedand Angle ends up getting stuck in a crack in the ground. Now at that time Max is freaking out trying to find her but eventually has to go back to the base type thing that they are staying at.
Reaction This book is fianally getting interesting I can not begin to think what will happen next.

Summary: In this chapter Max has gone back to the base or lab and gathered her team to go find Angle and wouldn't you know it they found her and after a giant blizzard too. But once they get to her and pull her out along with Angle's leg breaking in the process they were captured by a giant android man that works for the organization that is trying to eliminate them. After they are all captured they are thrown into a plane.
Reaction I am starting to really enjoy this book it is getting really good.

Summary: In this part of the book Max and her friends are rushed off to an evacuated city in that plane. The city has been evacuated due to a giant storm that is about to hit. When they are in the city that meet the director of that organisation I mentioned earlier. Right as these kids were about to be executed the storm that was going to hit the town smashed into the building killing the big android guy and the director, fortunatly for the kids they flew right into the eye of the storm until things settled down.
Reaction My reaction to this particular part of the book was "Wow there was the climax now it's all boring from here on."
